Sebuah Aksi Respon Dampak COVID-19
Pangkalan Bun, (28/04/2020) – “Sehatkan Bumi, Sejahterakan Putra-Putri Negeri” sebuah kata yang menggambarkan tujuan aksi yan dilakukan oleh Balai Taman Nasional Tanjung Puting. Sebagai uapaya tanggap dan kepedulian dampak pandemi COVID-19 di sekitar kawasan konservasi, Balai TN Tanjung Puting merespon dengan berupaya untuk tetap mendukung stabilitas ekonomi masyarakat sekitar, sekaligus menambah asupan bervitamin dan proteksi diri bagi staf Balai TN Tanjung Puting.
Buah-buahan segar dari kebun masyarakat sekitar kantor seperti semanka, melon, alpukat, nanas, jahe, dll secara rutin dibeli oleh Balai TN Tanjung Puting yang kemudian diolah sebagai suplemen harian bagi staf yang sedang bertugas untuk menjaga imunitas dari ptensi paparan virus COVID-19.
Sebagai tambahan proteksi bagi staf dan masyarakat sekitar, pengelola Balai TN Tanjung Puting juga memberdayakan penjahit lokal untuk membuat masker kain yang kemudian dibagikan secara gratis.
